One of the last unique blades I forged in Sweden with @damchristian in Sanmai, forge welding by hand, bearing steel and antique timber sled parts we excavated from the forest.
This wrought iron was made just meters away in the iron ore area of Sweden.
Hollow ground on my @tormek_sharpening and honed to zero creates a level of sharpness you've never experienced while the careful heat treat on the bearing steel makes it as tough as they come.
200 year old slightly curly maple from Bavaria for the Dogleg Handle. Chip carved as my original Dogleg I coined.
Wer molded sheath from German half tanned leather, of course with a proper snap. Linerless design.
Decorated and dyed by hand, as is the saddle stitch.
A heirloom knife you'll hand down.
