These tabs are connected by brass screws and face leather can be switched, backing leather changed or added. 
The construction is sturdy and stiff for optimum stability, clean release and longevity.
Break in period is required.
For best sizing measure the distance from the outside of your pointer finger to outside of your ring finger. 
Size up if between sizes. 
Trip face and backing to your liking. 
Small: 5cm wide 
Medium: 6cm wide
Large: 7cm wide
